
Vincent Coen

Vincent Coen is a Belgian documentary filmmaker exploring themes of identity, resistance, and social change. He studied Political and Social Sciences at Ghent University and film at RITCS in Brussels.
His work includes Cinéma Inch’Allah! (2012), about young Moroccan-Belgian filmmakers, and Nothing Is Forgiven (2017), which follows Charlie Hebdo journalist Zineb El Rhazoui before, during, and after the terrorist attack on the satirical magazine.
In 2023, he co-created and served as showrunner for Draw for Change!, a six-part series about female cartoonists blending documentary and animation. Co-produced with partners like ARTE, VRT, and RTBF, the series won Best International Documentary Series at Canneséries.
