Elma Okic is a visual communication specialist currently working as a video producer for WWF, based in Switzerland Her career in visual communciations, media & distribution was developed in London, UK, where she worked as a press and events photographer, & in various roles in image & news picture agencies. Alongside, she started working with video as a production assistant, and video camera operator.
Her first role working for WWF International was supporting the launch & development of WWF's Global Photo Network, and continued into Quality Control and Support, setting high visual, technical & metadata standards for WWF's central image bank.
From here Elma was recruited to the new created position of Video Producer & charged with establishing WWF International's video production capacity. In this role, which continues presently, Elma's notable projects include: project lead & creation of WWF's Global Video Network, 50th Anniversary Film Competition & partnership with One Day on Earth.
