"All We Have Is Us" follows peasant and Indigenous movements in Chile and Serbia, highlighting their struggle for the "Right to Say No to Mining." It explores solidarity across continents against "green mining" for global energy transition. In the Jadar Valley, Vladan’s peaceful rural life is disrupted when Rio Tinto discovers lithium. Locals, led by famous actress and activist Bojana Novakovic, mobilize to protect their land. Bojana’s efforts connect Serbian and Chilean activists, including Ramón Balcázar from the Atacama Desert. In Chile, Ramón and indigenous leader Leyla fight to preserve the Andean Wetlands from lithium exploitation. The two-distant movements unite through direct action and cultural resistance. A joint declaration marks a historic alliance, winning legal and communications battles, but the fight continues as corporations lobby in the EU Parliament. Without systemic change, communities fear the energy transition may only make the destruction even bigger.
