Between 1980 and 2001, the population of Peru’s Andean highlands was caught in the crossfire between the guerrilla “Sendero Luminoso” and the state armed forces. A family of three people from different sides of the conflict seek their way out of a dark past. Their present is marked by the confrontation with their memories and the attempt to develop understanding for each other.
