Pauline Blanchet is an award-winning film director and producer whose work explores sports, nationalism, and identity. Her short documentary Zuckerberg You Owe/Own Me has been screened internationally, and she has participated in talent programs at CPH:DOX, Sheffield Doc Fest, and Sundance Co//ab and has pitched at Dok Leipzig’s Short ‘n’ Sweet. Her current project, Big in Gazi Baba, has won multiple awards, including the Cannes Docs Marché du Film Award. Her archive film What You Remember received a Special Mention from Sandbox Films at AFO in 2024. Beyond filmmaking, Pauline has produced over five podcasts and was Senior Producer at World Radio Paris. Her storytelling also extends to XR media, where she explores environmental issues. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the School of Advanced Study, focusing on urban identity in North Macedonia. She is the founder of Aral Sea Productions, a producer at HERProductions, and leads communications for European Short Pitch.
