Sophie studied Social Anthropology and Sociology, followed by a post grad in journalism and started her career in the BBC Specialist Factual Unit. She worked on a variety of different specialist factual programmes and observational documentaries for UK and international broadcasters.
In 2007 she joined the communications team of the international medical aid agency, Medecins Sans Frontieres/ Doctors Without Borders. She now works as the Features and Documentaries Manager and liaises with external film-makers and producers to make compelling films about MSF’s work and the patients we work with.
