Nikolina Hrga

Nikolina Hrga (b.1989) received her MA in Southeastern European Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka in 2014, as well as her MA in Media arts and Practices at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka in 2015. She directed and produced her graduation film I rest my case based on Ionesco's play Chairs. She is currently working on her feature-length documentary with the production company Fade In, supported by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. She attended and worked in organization of several film workshops and film festivals in Croatia. In September this year she was a member of the judging panel for the youth selection at the 72nd Mostra in Venice and in October she was a member of the judging panel for the documentaries at the 2nd STIFF in Rijeka. She is a president of two NGO's (one that works with kids and youth and the other one that promotes media education) and collaborates with few others (that helps drug addicts and victims of violence).
