I am an extremely ambitious and determined young director, coming from a visual arts background. At the Belfast School of Art I had the chance to study abroad at Hampshire College (USA), which was transformative for me as I took my first film and animation classes.

On my return I focused my studies on moving images, and in 2014 I showcased my work at the D&AD International exhibit in London, and won the Honeycomb Creative Buzz Award.

After graduation I worked in live action commercials and films, quickly moving into post-production where I worked as an animation and VFX artist at Blacknorth, working on feature documentaries for HBO Europe, and Sky Atlantic, and other factual projects for the BBC and RTE including exciting VR projects. Most recently I directed a successful factual short for the BBC.

For a while now in the background I have been working on developing my own IP, and in late 2015 I was granted funding to produce and direct an animated kids TV pilot.

Project: Plates & Cups
Plates & Cups is an animated documentary based on lived experiences, that explores the current divided landscape of Northern Ireland the naive viewpoint of an outsider child that reveals with dark humour and the subtle and all pervasive levels of prejudice that last even today.
