Mate Vincze
Hungary

Máté Vincze is Budapest based filmmaker, graduated in 2012 from the University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest, where he studied television production. The hands-on course taught him not only the theoretical part of communication and video production but also ways to combine his storytelling ambitions with the world of digital media. He quickly fell in love with documentaries and continued his studies in Directing Documentaries MA course. He graduated in June 2015 with a documentary about a foster parent and a thesis about interactive documentaries. He’s been researching this topic for 3 years in the frame of the university classes. Thanks to his supporting professors at the university, his research led him to identify his main interest, which is the world of transmedia. He’s been trying ever since to incorporate the possibilities of interactivity in his works and projects.
