I studied Science of Communication at Technical University Berlin, 1991-1996.
1994-1998 working as PA/assistant director in feature film productions and for documentary films.
From 1998-2002 I was partner of a production company which was mainly producing commercial campaigns.
Under the roof of zabriskyFILM, which I founded in 2002, I am making and producing documentary films of different kinds.
I understand myself as an independent documentary filmmaker and -producer. As zabriskyFILM also has a commercial wing (realizing image videos, event-documentations,...), I do have the freedom to realize projects that are not financed by TV stations or foundations. It would be great to cooperate with these partners, but once I am interested in a subject, I want to be able to produce independently from these institutions, if necessary.
