The film will reveal the multi-layered conflict and heated debates between gays and lesbians trying to come ‘out of the closet’ in the country where for almost half a century their existence has been a taboo and their numerous opponents. 
The film will reveal the multi-layered conflict and heated debates between gays and lesbians trying to come ‘out of the closet’ in the country where for almost half a century their existence has been a taboo and their numerous opponents. Through portrays of protagonists from both sides, a story set in the post-Soviet environment in Latvia will talk about one’s rights to express different views publicly and about co-existence of  various opinions in a democratic society.
