New Media and Innovation Management

"New Media and Innovation Management" (July 12–22, 2010) is a workshop in Creative Industries offered jointly by Tallinn University’s Baltic Film and Media School and the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

tallin-workshopIt investigates creative industries as drivers for economic growth. The workshop takes place in two Baltic capitals, beginning in Tallinn with the second half of the course completed in Riga.

In its second year, this popular workshop takes a focused look at innovation management in creative industries. Industries such as advertising, art, film, design, music, radio, television, new media, and other creative fields are significant contributors to the international economy. The success of new media, in particular, has had a spillover effect to subsectors of the creative industry. For this reason, this year’s workshop will focus on new media platforms as enablers of more traditional creative industries.
